Ahhh, the crispness of 4 degree winds blowing across my numb face can only mean one thing: it's the holiday season.
Now, I personally don't endorse any specific one, fortunately this month provides the most choices for your holiday attention. Me? I've got a Festavus pole sitting in my apartment. It's not flashy, but it won't burn my place down if I leave it unattended.
Anywho, enjoy the season and what's left of 08!

Sorry for not being more up to date recently. Things have been quite crazy lately as the final prep for Dissed Weekly has taken up some additional time.
I will keep you all posted in the next few days as we get closer to Dissed's first edition next month.
Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!
So like the millions of other effected and quite frankly caught off guard by our now old friend Hurricane Ike, power and normalcy are just now returning in the froms of basic needs: electricity, restaurants, roads and the Big Ten Network on cable.
Ok, so maybe not the Big Ten Network.
But being in Ohio, one wouldnt think that a hurrican blast of warm then chilly then warm again and just to piss you off ice cold air blowing at 78mph.....yes i said 78 miles per hour....would hit like it did. I was actually in my hometown of Troy, Ohio when the storm hit, and like most, watched helplessly on television....as the Bengals lost. That of course untill the winds knocked the local CBS affiliate off the air. Great sign eh?
We wouldnt complain about the television long, as a new and far more entertaining source of distraction showed itself in the form of aluminum siding flying off the neighbors house and dancing down the street.
Power finally failed after several less impressive "flickers" at about 5pm on Sunday. By nightfall, radio estimates had Cincinnati about an hour to the south at a total blackhole, Dayton a half hour south seeing damage to its downtown, and exactly half of my hometown in the dark.
How does half a modern city lose power you ask?
Well, from a hill near the center of the geographic city, it could be seen that the city of 30,000 people was split in two by the railroad tracks that run through the middle, with the right side proudly displaying their defiance to Ike with their bolsterous and warming orange glow, while the left...and you can only immagine which side I was on...seemed to have dissapeared off the face of the earth like that one senator who supposedly killed his intern a few weeks before 9/11/01. That's right kids, I havent forgotten either.
Anywho...I guess the moral of this post is that everything is <mostly> back to normal here at Szabo Media. Both This & That Minizine and SzaboCast Network are currently in full swing (of pre-debut getting readyness), and thanks to the Big Ten Network, I can now focus on watching my Buckeyes get back on the winning track on Saturday.
Till next time...
Let me start this new blog off with a big welcome to the brand new homepage for Szabo Media!
After a while re-evaluating the old homepage, it was an easy decision to move to the more fun Weebly platform. Those of you familiar with Weebly already might know that the upcoming first version of SzaboCast Network is also based on Weebly, and so is This & That...so why not continue?
Anyways, this site will allow me and Szabo Media to provide a better service for our projects.
As you can see on the homepage, all current Szabo Media projects are listed, with handy little links to direct you to the proper place regarding each. As Szabo Media continues to develop new things, we'll keep updating the homepage to reflect that, so check back regularly.
In addition, this page will serve as the "corporate" backbone for the many seperate pages and projects out there in cyberspace, and act as a central contact point for Szabo Media. It's gonna be huge.
And as for the two seperate blogs, this one you are currently engaged in is a personal blog for myself, and will be updated regularly to keep you and your many friends and such up to date on what I'm thinking, working on and the like. It's also a great place to suggest things to improve upon what I mention etc. Nuff said.
